| Welcome to Clemson Pikes
The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity was founded at the University of Virginia
in 1868. Since then, over 200 chapters have spread throughout the
Southeast as well as the rest of the country. Pi Kappa Alpha
became the first nationally recognized chapter at Clemson
University on February 1st, 1970. Since then Pi Kappa Alpha has had a
rich history at Clemson University. The
Clemson Chapter has seen many years of success as being one of the top
3 chapters of Pike throughout all 200. The Smythe Award
is the ultimate award given to top 5% of Pike Chapters. Over the last
4 decades, Eta Alpha has seen 13 Smythe Awards. Eta Alpha today thrives
in the midst of the great campus at Clemson University.
